Hello, Sorry, but I still have not received a response to my reactivation requests. I believe both of my reactivation emails were correctly formatted according to the instructions on the forum, and I've checked inbox and junk mail multiple times. The first was 8/11 and the second was 8/21. Please advise if there's something else I need to try. I'd like to get my Bibleworks installation working again. Thank you
I got your request to activate your forum account but not your request to reactivate the program. They are different.
The subject line shoould look like this:
BW10-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX YourName
where the X's are replaced with your serial number. Did you send it to reactication@bibleworks.com not activation.com?
Hello. Yes, both emails were sent to reactivation@bibleworks.com. In both the subject line began with BW10 and then the rest of the product number followed by my name.
I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to see the emails, unless for some reason they are going to your junk mail or being rejected by the system. They both appear in my "sent" email box.
All I'm trying to do is activate my copy of BibleWorks I've had for years on a new laptop. I may still have BibleWorks activated on my old laptop. I'd have to check. Would that cause a issue with the process?
If you have a better way to communicate than forum posts, I'm happy to do that as well.

When I first brought up the new version of BW, it asked about some init files. Subsequent invocations didn't ask for those. It's been so long since I've run the program (I no longer use that computer) that not only have I forgotten how it works, I've forgotten the elaborate setup I'd had. Before decommissioning the older machine, I'd copied the BW directories to a USB drive, but not sure which files contain the setup.
And which executable do I use? Currently running on Win 11.

Hotmail is an odd service. It was the original web outlook mail server used by Microsoft and isn't used anymore. Hotmail addresses were sort of absorbed by outlook. I wonder if that could be the problem. Maybe there is a security issue. Can you try another e-mail address?
Yes, hotmail is some old school technology, but it's been working for me for over 25 years so haven't seen the need to change!
I just resent from a gmail account. Hopefully that will work.

I would recommend that you submit a new request and get a new executable. Then when you get the exe, manually delete the old one before you copy over the new one.
